FedWorld Government Network  includes many references to government organizations and resources.  The Whitehouse  also provides links and tours related to many aspects of US government.  The US Government Printing Office (GPO) gate (from University of California, San Diago, Social Sciences) provides access to the Federal Register, Congressional Record, Senate and House calendars, and the United States Code.
