Over the years DMA® has been not only been
the premier computer user group in southwestern Ohio, but has grown to
become a technology resource for the community.
Whether it is being part of Wireless Dayton Days, Computerfest®, TechFest, Dayton LANfest, GEMAIR (DMA's own ISP), OTAP, working with the United Way, sponsoring technology TV shows, bringing major industry representatives to the area to speak, sponsoring college scholarships to the University of Dayton, furnishing judges and major awards at the Regional Science Fair, or simply helping an individual or organization when the need for computer technology arises. DMA has always been there to help and inform.
With its involvement with the Riverbend Art Center, DMA has placed another feather in its cap along with helping yet another part of the Dayton community.
As the Dayton Microcomputer Association celebrates its 30th year in existence (one of the oldest and most active computer user groups in the country)… it hopes to continue to share information and knowledge when needed and to provide through its refurbishing project (OTAP) the equipment to help bridge the digital divide.
Her Honor Mayor Rhine Mclin and Riverbend Director Dee McLemore will be at the July meeting along with other guests to help salute DMA.s role with the community and the students that have been helped and encouraged.
We invite you to come to the General Meeting of the Dayton Microcomputer Association on Tuesday July 26 in O.leary Auditorium, Miriam Hall, at the University of Dayton at 7:30pm, to help celebrate and to learn more about DMA's role in the community in the past and where the future is taking us. Like the "arrow" that is DMA's trademark… DMA always points toward tomorrow.
Come out to the Dayton Microcomputer Association meeting on July 26 7:30pm O.leary Auditorium in Miriam Hall on the campus of the University of Dayton. There is no charge. Parking is free in "C" lot. Guests are always welcome and rumor has it that the door prize for the evening will be a PIII notebook computer. See www.dma.org/to-us.html for directions.
