Microsoft Publisher 2007

It's been an exciting year for DMA and as we bring it to a close there are still opportunities for enjoying each other.

The last general meeting of the calendar year will be the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Just in time for the holiday shopping rush. So if you.re exhausted after shopping and visiting with family, consider a respite at the DMA General Meeting and a trip to C's Pizza following.

Nancy Christolear, our current Databus Editor, will present Microsoft Publisher 2007. Publisher is used to generate this newsletter so who better to talk about its many capabilities. While Publisher can be used to generate complicated and involved publications easily, there are also many uses that individuals can use. Perhaps you would like to create a custom greeting card or perhaps you would like a small set of business cards. Consider printing them yourself using publishers many templates and graphics.

Publisher has also been updated along with the rest of the Office Suite. Many of the updates will apply equally to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Definitely something there for everyone.

Reason for Changes

DMA Trustees have been struggling to provide adequate facilities for our monthly General Membership meetings. Both UD and WSU presented challenges. We have been searching for a location that is comfortable for our members, room enough for all attendees, offers free parking, equipped with audio, visual, and internet, and still affordable for the organization. HHAF Hall meets all qualifications. Apple-Dayton meets here regularly.

April was our trial month and it went well. We have reserved the Warrior Room for the coming year.

All are welcome. The meetings start at 7:00 p.m. Guests are always welcome.
