April 17th - We spent the evening in preparation for our May meeting by discussing some things that every user can do to keep their Mac well-maintained. Some programs included Disk Utility, Macjanitor, Onyx, .Mac Backup, Carbon Copy Cloner, SuperDuper, and DiskWarrior.

May 15th - We may not have an Apple Store in Dayton, but in May, we made ourselves a Genius Bar! We set up some computers and were able to give some one-on-one help to our members, and hopefully, everyone left with some more knowledge than they had coming in. I hope you enjoyed it!

June 19th - First, Ralph Beach gave us an overview and demonstration of something we ALL have, but most don't know how to use, Applescript. Then Dan Forshaw demostrated the new Apple scripting tool, Automator.

July 17th - The topic was making your Mac do Windows. A Macintosh Store @ Weingarten gave us a demonstration of Apple's Boot Camp, as well as Parallels Workstation. Apple does Windows better than, well, everybody else!

August 21st - ???

September 18th - Cancelled due to presenter emergency.

October 16th - We had our annual visit from Fairborn Camera. Alot of questions were answered and information given.

November 20th - We had a visit from Lesa Snider King, prominent graphics guru. She writes articles for Macworld, Photoshop User, and Layers magazine. She also writes for PlanetPhotoshop.com. She is David Pogue's personal assistant and does much of the illustration editing for his books in the Missing Manual series. In addition, she is the Chief Evangelist for iStockphoto.com. We also saw our largest attendance of members & non-members at a meeting in the last 3 years.

December 18th - We had our annual Christmas Party. The food was great!
