About Money-SIG	English (USA)
The Money-SIG mailing list is for members of the DMA® Computers, The Market and Money SIG or other investors in the greater Dayton area to share their experiences and ask questions related to investing using the computer. This group is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Dayton Microcomputer Association (DMA®). The Computers, The Market and Money SIG used to meet at 7:00pm the fourth Monday evening of each month at 119 Valley St., Dayton, OH. Additional meetings sometimes occured on the second Monday. The SIG is currently on hiatus. See www.dma.org/fud/index.php?t=threadt&frm_id=28&rid=0 for current information. Messages posted from an address not a member of the group will be silently discarded. This means that if you are subscribed to the list using First_name.Last_name@some.isp (eg. John.Doe@some.isp), but you post a message from an account Last_nameFirst_initial@some.isp (eg. doej@some.isp), that message will not be accepted even though one address may be an alias for the other. Also, messages from new members will be held for moderator approval, so they may not appear on the list for a few hours. Subsequent messages will probably appear nearly instantaneously. Mailman inserts the list name [Money-SIG] in the subject automatically for messages sent to the list. Administrative messages, such as welcome messages don't do that. Also, note that replies will go to the list, rather than just to the person who originated the message. Using Money-SIG
To post a message to all the list members, send email to money-sig@dma.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Money-SIG
Subscribe to Money-SIG by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
