Softrockers,

Lynden (Mac) McIntyre has offered to let the SIG use the high reliability
soldering facility at Sinclair to work on our kits. We can meet from 10am
to 2pm this coming Saturday, February 4. Given the group's wide ranging
discussions and my own lack of soldering skill, I don't know if we can
finish assembling the kits in that time frame, but I'm hopeful that we can
get the surface mount stuff done. If we don't finish, we can schedule a time
and place to get together again - does anyone want to volunteer a place for
later that afternoon?

If you are interested, please respond by email. Let me know how many kits of
which kind you want to assemble. If you aren't building a kit, but would
still like to participate, many of us have purchased two kits (one for 40m
and one for 20m). I know I'd be willing to let someone else work on one of
mine.

We need to get the information to Sinclair in advance of how many will be
there, so please respond by Tuesday (1/31) night.

The facility is in building 1 second floor room 1223. We will have to park
on the street or in the big garage which will cost $2.00 because we are not
Sinclair students. Do not park under building 13 which is for corporate
training. George may be able to get us free parking at one of his clients,
but $2 isn't all that bad.

73,
Mark
