** SPECIAL NOTICE **

At our June meeting we decided to move our July meeting date from the 4th to
the 11th, and hold a joint meeting with DMA's Hands-On SIG. The topic was
to be about Microsoft's new operating system, Vista, and their new Office
Suite. Since then one of our Co-Leaders, Shawna N2TUJ, has and still is
deployed by the Red Cross to New York.

SO.... our plans have changed as follows:

The next meeting of the DMA Amateur Radio SIG is Tuesday July 11th from 6
till 9:00 PM at Sinclair Community College

We are not sure but think we will be in the Soldering Lab - a follow-up
email will be sent on MONDAY with room and building numbers.

Sinclair Parking - you have 3 options
1. park on the street FREE after 6 pm, but you will be fighting the students
for spaces
2. park in the garage on 5th street, $2.00, and walk through the overhead
tubes
3. park in my client's parking lot, FREE, on the SOUTH WEST corner of 4th &
Perry street, after 5:30 is best. Please put a sheet of paper on your dash
with the following: DMA HAM SIG then use the crosswalks to make your way to
the meeting.

Lynden, N8RXL, will be our host once again.

Plan on bringing your Softrock 5 radio kits to finish (or start)

Todd, N2TUN, our other Co-Leader, has some ideas he wants to discuss and
hopes the SIG will join in.

I imagine Mark, N8ME, will have comments and stories to tell about the 14
Field Day sites and 592 miles he traveled promoting his campaign.

And as always if you have any ideas for future meetings pass them along.

For more info send an email to k8dma at dma.org

All DMA SIG meetings are free and everyone is welcome to attend.
