[Amateur-SIG] Amateur Radio SIG Tuesday December 4th

Lots happening in the next few weeks!

1.  Make sure you pick up your Holiday Party tickets at the main 
meeting on Tuesday.   The Ham SIG is the night before, so don't wait 
for tickets!

2.  The presentation on Publisher at the main meeting should be great, 
and if you have never used Publisher this is a must-see!  Never again 
will you have to suffer creating complex documents in Word!

3. Ham SIG Topic: This session will focus on uses of spreadsheets for 
ham radio operators.  While the examples will be shown in Excel 2003 
they should apply to Open Office Calc and Apple Numbers as well as 
other common spreadsheet applications.  We will cover mail merge for 
QST cards, formulas for building antennas, log books and ideas from 
the audience.  Please contact Todd Collins (toddc at woh.rr.com) if you 
have a specific question or feature you want us to present. 

Should be a fun and informative meeting.  I look forward to seeing you 
there.  

You do not have to be a Ham radio operator or a DMA member to visit 
the Ham SIG, however both are encouraged (and we can help you achieve 
these goals!).
