[Cert-sig] DMA's Certification SIG + special notice

George,

Put me in for the Hands-On Session.

I have a 200 MHz IBM Server 310 and a HP 266 MHz workstation that are
running Red Hat 7 via command line with the basic server package and Suse
8.2 w/KDE desktop (respectively) that I can break free for the practical
network if none can be secured elsewhere.

I also have a large 12 port, ESX-1320 Cabletron switch I could bring in, but
as I understand it, a hub would be easier to sniff traffic upon.

Yeah, its all old hardware, but it works, nothing important is on the hdds
and is paid for...

I'll put it on the FUD forum, but I would vote for covering:

    1. Basic installation of a Linux distro with secure proceedures.

    2. Apache, PHP and MySQL installation

    3. Honeypots, Sebek Kernel compilation and client configuration and
secure, offsite system logs for forensics anylisis.

I am sure I will think of more.

Cheers.

Frank
