There's a Dynamic Language Users Group meeting Wednesday, December 12th,
at 7pm at 119 Valley St. Directions are, as always, available at
http://www.dma.org/to-us.html#ValleySt. We always go out for dinner
after the meeting ends, so you may want to plan accordingly.
Jason Cook is going to be talking about a programming problem he came
across called the 3n+1 problem, or the Collatz Sequence. He says it's a
"fun and deceptively simple problem that can be solved in multiple
ways". He'll be presenting a few different methods he used to solve it
using Ruby. You can read more about the problem at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collatz_conjecture
We're always looking for people to give presentations, perhaps an
introduction to your favorite dynamic language would be a good place to
start.
Hope to see you there!
