REMINDER:  Montgomery County Genealogical Society meeting tomorrow, Saturday (5/13/06) at the Dayton Metro Library at 1:30 PM.  The topic is:  "Sourcing - Who Needs It, Anyhow?"  by Karen Ansley Krugman.

If you arrive early enough at 1 PM, there is a pre-meeting topic scheduled by the Ohio Historical Society: "Online Genealogical Sources" with Carolyn Johnson Burns..


MOVING ON TO THIS MONTH'S MEETING

Talked to her and confirmed the May meeting:

Our regular monthly meeting for May, 2006 has been moved to Monday, 15 May 2006.  This change was discussed at the last two meetings (at least).  The May meeting will be held at the Family History Center in Fairborn.  The meeting will start at the regular time, 7 PM.  Don't know where the Fairborn FHC is?  Read On!

DIRECTIONS: Take SR-35 east to I-675  north and go to the Fairfield Mall Exit (Exit #17).
  
Turn left (north) onto N. Fairfield Road  and go a couple of blocks to the T-intersection with Colonel Glenn Highway  (you will be looking directly at the Nutter Center in front of you).
  
Turn right (east) on Col. Glenn  and drive past the Speedway Gas Station to the light at Old Yellow Springs Road  (it is on the curve).
  
Turn right onto Old Yellow Springs Road  and
 
Make an immediate right (south) onto Warner. (This is an easy street to miss if you are not watching for the street sign very closely.) 
  
Drive one block on Warner to Wolfe Drive and turn left (east).
  
Drive a block on Wolfe Drive  and
 
Turn right (south) onto Terry Drive.
  
The FHC is located at 3060 Terry Drive.
