Mike,

I appreciate your concern.  Our mailing lists are configured to reduce
the likelihood of being spammed.  Unfortunately, that does cause some
delay for first-time posters.  Some of that is explained in the list info 
page.  I guess I need to explain more there, or in the message sent to new 
subscribers.

We *have* been having some mail delivery problems on and off during the 
past week, but that's for *all* mail coming into dma.org - not just 
mailing lists.  The problem is being worked on.
