GENEALOGY SIG MEETING REMINDER 

This is a reminder that the January Meeting for the DMA Genealogy SIG will be Thursday, 24 Jan 2008 at the Dayton Daily News Building, 1611 South Main St., Dayton, OH.  The meeting starts at 7 PM.  The host is the editor of the Obituaries Section of the newspaper, Mrs. Nanette Meyer-Gibson.  The topic of the meeting will be "Obituaries" and how they are handled by the newspaper.  

For those familiar with the area, the location of the meeting is where the old buildings of NCR used to be near the corner of Main St. and Stewart St. Near the University of Dayton campus.  Three blocks further south you will see the building on the right with a large DAYTON DAILY NEWS splashed on the side of the building.  Front and side parking will be available.  

If you come down I-75, take the UD exit to the basketball arena (Nicholas Road) and turn left (east) and follow it all the way around the arena area to the light at Stewart St. (the first possible exit to the right); turn right (east) on Stewart St. and go about 3 blocks to Main St.  Turn right (south) on Main St. and go about 3 blocks to the building described above on the right.
