Matt,
Thanks for your offer. Our next Installfest is scheduled for 10 am - 4 pm
Saturday, September 24th at Sinclair Community College in the Physics
Department (Building 4) in or near room 4242 on the second floor. More info
about it is at <www.dma.org/linuxsig/events.shtml#InstallSep05> and I'll update
it as additional details become available. We look forward to doing another
Installfest at U.D. in the near future.
Admittedly we have not done a very good job of spreading the word except by
e-mail on our own mailing list, our web site <www.dma.org/linuxsig/>, and our
newsletter "The DataBus". The last one was announced on WMUB's community
calendar. Spreading the word to high schools sounds like a good idea. Thanks
for the suggestion. A couple people have at times volunteered to distribute
fliers to local college campuses and computer stores, but I really don't know
how many were actually distributed. We have copies of previous fliers at
<www.dma.org/linuxsig/files/> so you wouldn't need to start from scratch.
