Software Development SIG members,

There's a meeting this week! Thursday November 13. As usual, the meeting
will begin at 6:30 with an open discussion period.

I will do the main presentation which will be a follow-up to a previous
presentation I did on Creating Extensible Applications. In the presentation,
I will show the design and implementation of creating applications that
allow functionality to be dynamically loaded at runtime. This allows you to
create new business logic that is used by an application without recompiling
the main application itself. You could also describe it as a plug-in
architecture.

I will be working with the example of an order entry application that can
price items differently for every customer. If you found the last
presentation to be too abstract, this example application is more concrete.
And if you missed the last presentation, come and see what you missed.

I will demonstrate this technique in C#/.NET.

I hope to see you there,
Joe Wirtley
