I'm very pleased to announce that at this month's Dayton Perl Mongers
meeting we will have a presentation by a special (out of town!) visitor.
Mark Stosberg will be discussing Quality Assurance in Web Application
Development.

The talk will provide techniques to complete projects faster, closer to
estimate, and with fewer defects. Using a large project as a case study,
we'll touch on several specific tools that can be helpful including
automated testing, smoke bots, code coverage, project tracking, and
source control.

There will be time for Q&A on this topic, as well as Mark's other
projects including CGI::Application and Data::FormValidator.

The meeting takes place at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 14th, 2005.
Dayton.pm meets at 119 Valley St. in Dayton. You can find directions at
http://dayton.pm.org/maps.shtml . We do tend to start late, so you
should come even if you can't make it right at 7pm. If you ask real
nice, we might even be willing to wait for you. We do go out to eat
after the meeting ends, so you may want to plan accordingly.

Please feel free to distribute this message within your organization or
contact me directly with any questions.
