[Software-Development] DMA member looking for C++ programming help for son

Dear SIG members:
At the recommendation of Dave Lundy, I have joined your software developement SIG. My son, Jamison, is a Wright State freshman taking computer engineering / computer science. I was shocked to learn his first class is C++ programming! When asked, the school reported there are no prerequisites, no intro class, or class to help him learn programming basics. He has no programming knowledge at all and this is beyond me to help. I am looking for immediate tutoring and/or mentoring for him before he start getting "F"s or drops the class.
