Here is the information I gathered from benchmarking the 3 different AMD K6 CPU's I've used in the Compaq Presario 1250 laptop. She is running Windows Me and has 160MB SDRAM memory (32MB on-board and 128MB Crucial module) installed for all 3 CPU's.

The memory subsystem in this laptop is screwy. I have no idea why I lost points increasing the CPU speed, and I don't know why the K6-2 CPU is hobbled in the memory benchmark. Maybe that's why she was acting a lot slower than I thought she should. As you can see, CTU increased Dhrystone and memory scores quite a bit.
