New UK Global Climate Change Mini-Movie [WARNING: EXTREMELY GRAPHIC]

A very telling piece as to what the plan is for The Powers That Be (TPTB) if you oppose their agendas concerning Global Climate Change, despite what true science has to say on the matter. Bet Stalin and Mao would be proud of their young students.

CNN’s Liberal Jack Cafferty Rips Obama’s Failed Openness Pledge as ‘Just Another Lie Told for Political Expediency’

Gotta hand it to the Clinton News Network (CNN) and Jack Cafferty for finally waking up to this administration's campaign lies.

"I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration."

-Hillary Clinton (5/15/07)

16 July 2011: I recently upgraded my work laptop, an HP Elitebook 8440p, with an Intel 160GB SSD. It's been randomly bluescreening for no apparent reason since the upgrade. I think I found the issue, it's the audio driver. Uninstall the IDT Audio driver you currently have installed, reboot, and install this one. Found this tip here. I'm testing it now to see if that cures the bluescreening.

22 May 2011: After checking my StatCounter page for this website, I realized how useless the Department of Homeland Security actually is. Here's an image of their activity on my website.

4 April 2010: Looks like a doctor in Berlin, GE has 'cured' a 42 year old American AIDS patient with Leukemia of HIV infection with adult stem cell treatment. Here's the recent article I saw, and here's an earlier one from 2008.

25 March 2010: The state of Colorado needs drastic change NOW! It's time to break away from the 2-in-1 party system we have now! Democrats and Republicans have driven this country into the ground! Support Independent candidate for Governor of Colorado, Jason R. Clark!THE PEOPLE FIRST, not the party!!

20 March 2010: Read about this jackass in England who owns a web design, hosting, and SEO company who would hire paedophiles over former military service members. I think it's time for all those who support those who honorably serve in their country's military services to boycott WebEurope and specifically anything this asshat Karl Winn is involved in.

22 Dec 2009: Obama's approval rating is plummeting! He finally broke the negative twenty percent barrier, and is currently at -21%! His lowest since taking office. As an FYI, the last positive rating he had was on June 29th. Rasmussen Reports-Daily Presidential Tracking Poll-Sunday, December 22, 2009

2 Sept 2009: Great comic strip about copying Obama's healthcare plans to a school lunch program.

9 April 2008: Got new Atheros wireless drivers from Microsoft Windows Update yesterday (Version: 7.4.2.105 / Date: 4/1/2008). DOWNLOAD
And here's the newest Atheros Client Utility (Version: 7.0.1.70 / Date: 4/7/2008). DOWNLOAD

28 Oct 2005: MTV News Presents "The Notorious B.G." A Forum With Bill Gates is a good open forum interview with Bill Gates and about 80 young adults.

20 Sept 2005: Good information for any U.S. military personnel stationed in the European Union. Personal FM transmitters, ie. iTrips and the like, used to listen to music players through your FM radio especially in your car are illegal in the entire E.U.

24 July 2005: If you are still using WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encryption on your wireless network, this shows how easy it is to break into your network. I upgraded my wireless network a couple months back to WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) encryption. WPA is more secure, but can be attacked with a dictionary attack. So, if you do decide to upgrade your wireless network to WPA, set the pass phrase with upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols for the best security.

10 July 2004: If you're like me and hate to install QuickTime and RealPlayer on your computer, you might want to try QuickTime Alternative and RealPlayer Alternative. Both work really well, and don't put all the other garbage associated with the official versions on your system.

22 Oct 2003: Thanks to The Screensavers on TechTV for this one. A totally free packet analyzer called NetworkActiv PIAFCTM.

2 Sept 2003: If you have an IBM Deskstar 60GXP or 75GXP hard drive, there is a firmware update to help these known problem drives to cope.

1 July 2002: The Personal Computer reached the 1 billion mark in April, 25 years after the 8080. Here's a lower res copy of the 15.1MB file of the timeline. Intel is thinking the next billion will go in 6 years.

Old Laptop News: Just upgraded my Compaq Presario 1250 laptop from the K6-2/360 to a K6-III+/394. A BIG improvement in performance. The K6-III+ is built on .18 micron and incorporates 256kb of L2 on-chip cache. I'd recommend jumping straight from the K6/300 straight to the K6-III+, upgrading the RAM to 160MB or 288MB, and running CTU. I got my K6-III+/450 CPU from Upgrade Solution in CA for $52. Here are the WCPUID screens, CTU settings, and benchmark results from the K6/300, K6-2/360, K6-III+/360, and K6-III+/394.

NOTE: The K6-III+ reads the 2x multiplier as 6x. See jumper settings here.

Received a link to a program called Central Tweaking Unit (CTU) which turns on and optimizes memory settings for all K6 CPUs. Works like a charm on the K6-III+. Results are posted on the Benchmark page.

Upgraded the old Fujitsu MHE2064AT 6.4GB hard drive that came stock with the 1250 with an IBM Travelstar 20GN DJSA-220 20 GB drive I got from Computergeeks.com for $109. (NOTE: I've noticed quite a few people hitting my page looking for the jumper settings for the DJSA-220 hard drive. Here's the Hitachi document containing those.) Had to run Disk Manager 2000 to get the drive recognized by the old BIOS. It's max capacity was 8.4 GB. A lot faster loading now, and a lot more room to boot.
Sidenote:
When I first unpacked the drive I noticed a rattle. According to this document, this is caused by a latch to secure the heads when unloaded.

Current Compaq Presario 1250 Configuration:
CPU:
AMD K6-III+ / 394 MHz (Running CTU under Windows 98SE to turn on and optimize on-chip cache)
Memory:
160 MB (32 (on-board) + 128)
Hard Drive:
IBM DJSA-220 20 GB (Need to run Disk Manager 2000 to correct BIOS limitation of 8.4 GB)

Original Configuration:
CPU:
AMD K6 / 300
Memory: 64 MB (32 + 32)
Hard Drive: Fujitsu MHE2064AT 6.4 GB

Here's the Maintenance & Service Guide from Compaq for the Presario 1200 Series Laptops (1234, 1235, 1236, 1237, 1238, 1240, 1242, 1250, and 1252), 1245 specific.

Hard To Find Drivers I've Found:

Atheros Wireless Card: I have an IBM "11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter II" card in my Thinkpad R51 laptop running Windows XP Pro, which is an Atheros AR5004x 802.11a (5 GHz) & 802.11b/g (2.4 GHz) card. I am currently running the Atheros Client Utility V. 8.0.0.72 and Atheros AR5xxx/AR9xxx Driver V. 7.7.0.329 on this laptop, and it runs great!

Microsoft Windows XP Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel: Needing to mount an ISO CD-ROM image in Windows XP, but don't want to burn it? Microsoft has a free unsupported tool for download on their website.

Standard ATI Catalyst Drivers On Your Laptop: Are you tired of the out-of-date drivers your laptop manufacturer provides for your ATI mobile graphics chip? Use Patje's Mobility Modding program to modify the standard ATI Catalyst package to install on your laptop. Supported ATI products are:
- Mobility Radeon 9600
- Mobility Radeon 9700
- Mobility Radeon 9800
- Mobility Fire GL 9000

** The only problem under XP is that after the warm-up period, and you go to Preview, the program will beep and auto-close. Just restart the "Import" and preview. She'll work fine until the next time she needs to warm-up.

Aiwa CDC-MP3 Car CD/MP3 Receiver: This is the stereo in my Miata. Had a hell of a time trying to find this. User's Manual

Build a USB charger cord for your Motorola V176 cellphone. I built one, and it works great! Thank you Sagebrush Systems!

Sharp Electronics Operation (Owners) Manuals - I was trying to find an owner's manual for my Mom's Sharp Aquos LC-32D41U LCD television, and all I could find were people wanting to sell me one. This looks like it's a pretty good selection of new and old manuals for Sharp equipment.

10 Signs You Are an Unquestioning Atheist

1) You think the statement “My lineage derives from evolved lizards” is more logical than “A higher intelligence created intelligent life on Earth, according to their kind”.
2) You don’t accept the idea of God, but you talk about him more then most religious zealots.
3) You despise the idea of faith, but you have a hyper-abundant amount of trust in “time and chance”.
4) You despise organized religion by being a part of an organized religion against organized religion.
5) You claim that religious people are brainwashed, but you spout off quotes from renowned atheists to defend your beliefs.
6) Your best defense to the idea that religious people cram their beliefs down peoples' throats is to cram your beliefs down peoples' throats (Richard Dawkins)
7) You say the Bible is utterly made up nonsense, then use stories from it to condemn God...who you claim doesn’t exist.
8) One of your favorite arguments against believing the Bible is that it was written by men, but you unquestioningly believe science text books...written by men.
9) You get stark raving mad when someone says God (who doesn’t exist) will send you to Hell (a place that doesn’t exist), and use that as “evidence” that God doesn’t exist.
10) You deny the testimony of countless millions of believers, but trust the research of a few hundred atheists...and call that being "open-minded".

Reading University of Phoenix Textbooks On A PDF Capable eReader

I bought a Sony ebook reader to read my University of Phoenix PDF textbooks on, but they wouldn't open up due to the third-party protection on them. A little research on the Internet and I found this solution.
