5150 History

5150 was founded in March of 1995 and was orginally known as Houser Motorsports and then Housedog Motorsports. 5150 is a term from Van Halen's 1988 album 5150 which is the New York City Police code for MANIC ON THE LOOSE. 5150 Motorsports races on Nascar 1, Nascar 2 , and Indycar 2 with hopes of branching out into Grand Prix 2. Although 5150 isn't in any internet racing leagues we race the Chevy Monte Carlo, Truck and, Lumina, Pontiac Grand Prix, Oldsmodile Cutlass, the Buick Regal, and Dodge Trucks. In Indy Car we run the Reynard chassis with Mercades-Benz engine and Goodyear Tires.
