Well, I'm finally going to actually make use of my night
off and actually get to work on this little website of mine. This
is pretty much going to be a one-night effort, so it probably won't be all
that stunning, but hey, that's why I can always fix it later. :-)
First things first, a little bit about me. I'm a 22-year old guy
from Troy, Ohio. I just moved back to Troy this past July from Findlay,
Ohio. Findlay is a pretty cool place, but I had nothing important going
on there (Translation: I had a dead-end job and a job that I could
do regardless of where I lived) so I came back here. Fortunately, despite
all the crazy women I met up there, I came back with a mostly clean slate
(no marriages / divorces / children / bankruptcies) so all's well that end's
well.
Currently I deliver pizzas for
Papa
John's pizza (been doing that for 2 1/2 years at 3 different stores
total) and I also am delivering newspapers for the
Dayton Daily News until something
decent opens up that'll work alongside the pizza delivery. I also
am a member of the
Dayton Microcomputer Association
(hence the location of the website) and am hoping to share what knowledge
I have with computers with others since no one wants to pay me jack for
it. :-(
Obviously from my group affiliation I like computers. I
am really behind what the
Linux community
is out to accomplish and I use it at home. In fact, I'm going to put
up a page about Linux and what I know about it on here once I have the patience
to do some serious writing. I also have knowledge on hardware configurations,
multi-boot setups for OS's, networking (cross-platform even), and various
flavors of Windows. If you want to, e-mail me and I'll pitch in what
I know, even if I can't get as technical as some of the long-timers that
are floating around (I can tell you how to do it, probably not why it works).
Well, that's pretty much my introduction to things. I have a
Yahoo! profile I tend
to keep up to date, but don't open it unless you want to see a really scary
photo of myself. :-P
