Step 1 - Titles and Abstracts Search

• The Electronic Newsstand links to over 2000 magazines.
• Northern Light Search provides periodicals article searches in addition to Web searches.

Step 2 - Text Retrieval

Many periodicals are making past publications available in electronic archives.  Search for the periodical  of your choice and see if it has made archives and past issues available.

• Electronic Journal Access: Description Search provides searches to find Internet editions of periodicals.  Electronic serials included in this source are defined very broadly as any journal, magazine, e'zine, webzine, newsletter or type of electronic serial publication which is available over the Internet.  From the Colorado Alliance of Research Libraries (CARL).
• NewsDirectory.com provides links to over 4000 paper-printed newspapers, magazines, and computer publications.
• The Electronic Newsstand links to over 2000 magazines.
• Search publications from  Ziff-Davis Publishing and ZDNet. Includes computing resources such as PC Magazine and Computer Shopper Magazine.
