- Phone Yellow Pages / White Pages contain indexing into business resources.
- Buyer Beware: Before sending money to an Internet selling site, be sure to check site ratings at multiple of these to see if they have a rip-off reputation.
  - ResellerRatings for store ratings and product searches.
  - BizRate for product searches and store ratings.
  - Epinions can be used to review purchasable items.

  - Search and Compare Tools:
    - ZingSale - seems primarily Amazon. Does searches and price tracking with Emails sent at target prices.
    - PriceGrabber.com compares consumer items. Includes reviews of sources.
    - PriceScan.com accesses lots of stores and auctions for comparison.
    - MySimon.com accesses lots of stores and auctions for comparison.
    - Buyer's Index is a search engine especially meant for buyers. Aimed at consumer goods. Turns up sites and links for the user to check out for further research. A bit cumbersome as it doesn't try to aggregate hits by price or features for comparison making.
    - Interactive Buyers Guide provides comparison shopping for cars, electronics, appliances, and office equipment.
    - CNET: Shopper.com locates prices and Internet sources.
    - Price Watch - Street Price Search Engine provides searches and price comparisons for PC parts and software.
    - PriceScan provides price comparisons for computer hardware, software, and supplies. Also compares consumer items such as books, music, movies, and video games.
  - Coupons, Discounts, Promotions, and Special Offers:
    - RetailMeNot provides online and printed coupons for a very wide range of product.
    - Deal-Finder is a clearinghouse of special offers.
    - DealCatcher is a clearinghouse of special offers.
    - Deal News identifies good buys. Try this for Black Friday Sales!
    - Gomez is a clearinghouse of special offers.
    - Coupons.com offers software to scour the resources anytime while you are on-line. On-line and real world sources.
    - ECoupons.com accesses both on-line and real world deals. Offers search by zip code feature. Includes rebate center.
    - CoolSavings includes printable coupons to local supermarket and much more.
  - 5 O'Clock Computers a Beavercreek, Ohio, computer hardware store.
