Orginizational Information

We are a family-oriented group of people, all of whom enjoy astronomy in one form or another. We encourage astronomy participation and education of the public.

Dues of $12 per year is payable at the August meeting, or pro-rated if joining at other times of the year.

Being a member provides benefits including:
A mailed monthly news letter
Reduced prices from the publishers of Astronomy, and Sky & Telescope magazines
Public star party particpation
The president's challange list
Astronomy day (display) at the mall

Members only activities include:
Gathering without the public to enjoy astronomy and pass along knowledge
A messier object search party in March
A summer club picnic
A carry-in Christmas dinner 'meeting' for the members of our families
Informal trips to other clubs and astronomy sites
Other informal non-public gatherings with one another
