Adrian Esparza is best known for his vivid geometric installations created from pulled-apart sarapes—brightly colored blanket-like shawls worn in Latin America. His work is represented in the collections of the Perez Miami Art Museum, El Paso Museum of Art, and Dallas Museum of Art. He received his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and currently lives and works in El Paso.
