Award-winning author Matt de la Peña and author-illustrator Loren Long present a new illustrated classic: Love, a lyrical story about the bond that connects all humans. New York Times bestselling author Matt de la Peña’s Last Stop on Market Street won the 2016 Newbery Medal and was both a Caldecott Honor Book and a Coretta Scott King Illustrator Honor Book, as well as a New York Times Book Review Notable Children's Book of 2015. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed picture book A Nation’s Hope: The Story of Boxing Legend Joe Louis and six award-winning young adult novels.

Award-winning author and illustrator Loren Long is perhaps best known for his New York Times bestselling picture book series Otis. He is also the #1 New York Times bestselling illustrator of President Barack Obama’s picture book Of Thee I Sing. Before focusing on books, Long was a freelance illustrator for Time, Reader’s Digest, and Forbes. Long’s works include the award-winning I Dream of Trains by Angela Johnson, the reillustrated edition of The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper, and Mr. Peabody’s Apples by Madonna.
