Thursday, July 11
Take a unique and unexpected look at the Museum’s collection with a pop culture twist. Celebrate all things fashion, try your hand at an unconventional Project Runway challenge, and learn more about clothing that has been lost to time. Secure your seat to hear Elaine Welteroth, judge on the new season of Project Runway and former Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue, talk about her new book More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say).
All night, Pick up a game in the Concourse 
Play a fashion version of bingo in the collection; walk through the galleries to find garments or accessories that correspond to red, blue, green, and white to win a prize.
Cafe prizes available until 8:00 p.m.   
All night, Atrium 
Listen to the sounds of the catwalk with DJ Derek Lynn.
All night, Art Studio
Mix and match clothing and fabric textures in a fashion plate activity to create your favorite look. 
5:15 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 7:15 p.m., & 8:15 p.m., Atrium
Watch teams create fashion out of unconventional materials for a runway showdown to win fashion-themed prizes. Think you have what it takes to win? Space is limited so be sure to sign up.  
Four teams per hour; teams limited to a maximum of five people. Sign-up for the challenges begins right outside the Atrium at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. respectively. 
6:30 p.m. & 8:00 p.m., Meet at the Main visitor services desk
Tour the galleries with Jessie Carrillo, Manager of Adult Programs at the DMA, to learn more about fashions that have been lost to time like pocket watches and women’s headwear.  
7:00 p.m., Horchow Auditorium 
Enjoy a talk by Elaine Welteroth, judge on the new season of Project Runway, former Editor-in-Chief of Teen Vogue, and author of More Than Enough: Claiming Space for Who You Are (No Matter What They Say).
This talk requires an additional $10 ticket.
